Amanda Odette for 67th District Court Judge

Grand Blanc Division

Amanda Odette is a local attorney with over 17 years of experience running for Judge.

Amanda has lived in Genesee County for 16 years and has practiced law in Genesee County since 2011. She is the city attorney for Burton, Mt. Morris, and Montrose cities and the township attorney for Genesee and Montrose townships, she also assists in the representation of Fenton Township. 

In this role she appears in district court almost daily prosecuting criminal matters such as drunk driving, assault and battery and larceny, among other misdemeanors. She also represents the various municipalities’ boards and councils.

Since 2015, Amanda has been a member of the Genesee County Sobriety Court team. She fills the prosecutorial role in advising the team in efforts to enhance public safety and provide tools for participants to reach and maintain sobriety. She offers options and opinions regarding participant sanctions, incentives, terminations and commencement decisions.

Amanda also has experience in collection work, landlord-tenant matters, and general civil matters throughout her career as a sole practitioner.

The Honorable Christopher Odette is scheduled to retire at the end of his term and Amanda is seeking to carry on the legacy that he has firmly established on the bench serving our community.

About Amanda Odette

Amanda actively supports her local youth leagues and Kiwanis, among other organizations. She is a member of the Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce.

Amanda lives in Grand Blanc Township with her husband, Mike Odette, and her three children, 13, 10, and 7.
